It's very easy, if you want, to finish right on a lovely and shiny magazine page.
The special concoction to this kind of success is just simple as it sounds like: a trendy top mixed with a vintage something, lovely trousers/skirt and a designer pair of shoes.
There is no creativity involved or, for the sake of it, even any sense of style. What you simply have to do is follow the guidelines of actual trends and put a vintage something on it to pretend you're creative.
Vintage.
I've never indulged too much in vintage, to be honest, it's sometimes too challenging for my laziness. And, if I might say that, sometimes it's as much expensive as buying a new one. I wonder why, since things like shoes or bags with golden details don't age very well to be honest. Maybe it's something connected to the fact they no more in production? Like Lanvin is still selling previous seasons bags? Ahah
The secret is all in the name though, vintage. It sounds sophisticated, it sounds smart, it sounds eclectic.
It doesn't matter if maybe a charity shop visit in Chelsea would win you more. It doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter that everyone has a vintage Chanel, these days. It doesn't matter.
What matter, my friends, it's you.
Do you want to be stunning? Do you want to be daunting?
Be what you want and follow your style.
Nobody really interesting follow the trends for following the trends is just like eating in the right restaurant at the right time ignoring the fact they forgot to use salt.
And, remember, everything is in the details.
Almost.
